My red and white Aurora Borealis AB crystal earrings are hand framed and wrapped in brass. They sparkle with the light. AB Finish on Beads or Crystals
The ear wires are also hand made in brass, other types of ear wires are available. The earrings measure about 1 and 1/2 inches in length.
Brass, because it contains copper and zinc, minerals essential to the human body, it is believed that wearing brass jewelry can improve health and reduce copper and zinc deficiencies. It boosts the immune system and gives courage.
To clean, place in warm water with a drop of mild soap or detergent, no chemicals, and swish around, rub gently with soft cloth and then rinse with warm water. Rub dry with a soft dry clean cloth.
Brass will develop a natural patina. I like the patina, it gives the jewelry an antique look. However, to shine up the brass and remove some of the patina, use a bit of lemon juice on a soft cloth and rub on the brass. Do NOT use on the crystals, it may dull the AB finish on the crystals.
Do not use other chemicals.
