Brass will develop a natural patina. I like the patina, it gives the jewelry an antique look. Do not submerge the items in a solution because the novelty beads are hollow and will fill up with solution and it will be difficult to drain out.
To just clean the bracelets, use a damp cloth with plain water and rub beads clean. Rub dry with a soft, clean, dry cloth.
