Description
These are beautiful, vintage brass drops with a baked on colored surface. The drops measure about 1/4 by 3/4 inches. They are hollow and are hand wrapped in brass and hang from handmade brass ear wires.
There is only one pair of each color available: Turquoise, Raspberry and Moss Green.
Because of its copper and zinc makeup, brass is said to have metaphysical healing properties, it boosts the immune system and gives courage.
Brass will develop a natural patina. I like the patina, it gives the jewelry an antique look. However, to shine up the brass, use a bit of lemon juice on a soft cloth and rub on the brass. Another option is to use a solution of warm water, salt and lemon juice in a shallow small bowl. I set the jewelry in the solution for less than a minute and then rinse well to remove the acid. Rub dry with a soft clean dry cloth.
