Imperial Jasper Bangle in Brass

Description

Beautiful purple Imperial Jasper beads and tiny silver beads are wrapped in brass to make these bangle bracelets. They are “easy on and easy off” and slightly bendable bangles with the closures turned inward so that they will not catch on clothing.

Clean your bracelet with a soft damp cloth, use warm water, then rub dry with a soft dry cloth.

Jasper is said to provide protection and absorbs negative energy and balances yin and yang. It is known as the “supreme nurturer”. It sustains and supports through times of stress and brings tranquility and wholeness.

Because of its copper and zinc makeup, brass is said to have metaphysical healing properties, it boosts the immune system and gives courage.

Brass will develop a natural patina. I like the patina, it gives the jewelry an antique look. To shine up the brass, use a bit of lemon juice on a soft cloth and rub on the brass. I have used a solution of warm water, salt and lemon juice in a shallow small bowl. I set the bracelet in the solution for less than a minute and then rinse well to remove the acid. Long exposure to acid may dull the color of the beads.

There are two sizes available, small for up to 6-inch wrist to fit loosely and the average size which fits a 6 and 1/2-inch wrist loosely. Will fit a 7 and 1/2-inch wrist also.
